About PAVE

The PAVE Trust was conceived on 27th April 2007 in response to the acute and distressing needs of the relocated poor of New Delhi slums and greatly deprived villages of India, with a vision to love and serve the poor, the PAVE family intends to encompass over 25000 people living in 2 relocated slum colonies/villages. With clear vision, focused goals, articulated objectives and well-implemented interventions, PAVE wishes to reach out to resettled poor of Delhi and villages of India to bring about holistic and lasting improvement in their lives through the empowerment of individuals and communities and through raising their health standards and the conditions in which they live.

Affiliations

PAVE wishes to works in active collaboration with the Government, and will seek governments support in kind (infrastructure in form of Clinic buildings and resource centres, free vaccines and other supplies). PAVE expects maximum mobilization of other resources from the government along with cooperative programs such as DOTS for tuberculosis and Pulse Polio Program.


PAVE Mission Statement

The mission of PAVE is to work with the poor of India, to bring about long term and sustainable transformation to their quality of life. Through a practical expression of values of faith, hope and love, we aim to provide holistic community based health care, environmental improvement and empowerment through educating, resourcing and encouraging the community to receive and enjoy their basic human rights.
PAVE also aims to influence the lives of its international audience by sharing local practice, experience and vision and facilitating partnerships where awareness and association between different cultures can impact and change individuals globally.
